Anyone from the age of 4 can fly in the wind tunnel. No experience is required. Fliers must be in good health and physical condition.
Flying is suitable for everyone, except:
- Children under 4 years old
- People weighing more than 110 kg
- Pregnant women
- People under the influence of alcohol or drugs
- People with heart problems or blood circulation problems
- People with back problems, intervertebral discs or any other type of injury

The experience is completely safe and is supervised by a qualified and certified instructor, who accompanies you at all times.
We want you to feel safe at all times, which is why we provide you with all the necessary equipment. You will attend a small theory class before flying, where the basic notions of flying in a wind tunnel will be explained to you.
The flight itself in the wind tunnel takes about 60-75 seconds, which is almost double the experience of a free fall when jumping out of a plane.
The full experience of the first flight takes approximately one hour and a half from start to finish. If you wish, you can stay longer with us to see other flyers.
We will provide you with the equipment and a theory class by one of our professional instructors.
Our packages offer a minimum of 2 flights per person so you can enjoy the experience to the fullest. The first flight is like a test for you, so see how everything works, then on the second flight you will enjoy more fully.
It is not necessary to have any previous knowledge before your first flight with FLY Gran Canaria. Anyone from the age of 5 can fly in the wind tunnel. Fliers must be in good health and physical condition.

We ask that you arrive on time to check in or you may miss your flight. We provide the equipment and make sure that everything is in line with your safety. A theory class will be conducted by one of our professional instructors to prepare you for your flight.
We recommend that you book your flight through the website before arriving at the wind tunnel. By booking in advance you can ensure a smooth process without any waiting time. The flight time is allocated on a first come first served basis, which means that reservations will be taken care of first.
FLY Gran Canaria will provide you with all the necessary equipment for flying. We recommend that you come with sneakers or shoes closed with laces or velcro. Please wear casual clothes, the flight suit will be worn over your clothes.
Please note that loose items such as watches and jewellery are not allowed in the wind tunnel due to safety regulations. You can wear glasses, as we have special glasses that fit over them and keep them in place.
The facilities of FLY Gran Canaria include lockers to keep personal items. We ask you to leave everything you have in your trouser pockets such as coins, keys, etc. outside the wind tunnel, so as not to risk damage.

It is necessary to wear a flight suit for safety reasons. Our instructors are trained to hold you by the handles of your flight suit. They will accompany you throughout the experience.
Tricks and acrobatics can be performed only by experienced flyers for safety reasons. Please ask your FLY Gran Canaria instructor how to advance your flying skills. Some flyers are able to do turns, move up and down, forward and backward during their first flight.
Your friends and family are welcome to watch you fly in the areas near the tunnel.

A wind tunnel is a machine that produces the column of air over which you float in the flight chamber. Two powerful motors drive two sets of propellers to move the air and generate a vertical upward current of up to 270km/h that will allow you to fly totally safely.
By simply lying down in the air current you can float above the wind and experience the exciting sensation of flying. Our professional instructors will accompany you at all times.

We recommend that you book your flight online before arriving at the wind tunnel. Through your pre-booking you can ensure a smooth process with no waiting time. The flight time is allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, which means that reservations will be taken care of first.
Every FLY Gran Canaria package includes the necessary equipment to fly: a helmet, a suit and glasses. A small theory class in which the basic notions of flying are explained is given by one of our professional instructors. One of our instructors will accompany you during the whole experience. At the end you will receive a personalized flight certificate.
FLY Gran Canaria has a recording system that allows you to immortalize this memory by means of high quality videos and/or photographs so that you can take home a beautiful memory of this incredible experience. You can reserve the photo and video as an extra to your package or purchase them at the reception after your flight.
Every person under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult and have an authorization signed by their guardian or legal representative. The accompanying adult will be responsible for the authenticity of the authorization and signature.
Our professional instructors will accompany you through the whole experience with their help and support. They ensure the correct position of the body in the tunnel as well as the movements of the legs and arms.
Your instructor will ensure that you can fully enjoy the flying experience. He can signal the operator for immediate interruption of the flight or for speed reduction.
The width of the FLY Gran Canaria wind tunnel ranges from 2.20 metres at the base to 3.0 metres at the top, and reaches 9.6 metres in height. With the help of your instructor you can fly up to a height of 9.6 metres. The usual height for first-time flyers is a maximum of about 2 meters, where you will be within reach of your instructor.
The change in height of your flight is done through the movement of your body. You will learn everything you need to know about flying in a small theory class conducted by one of our professional instructors before your flight.
You will enter the wind tunnel together with your flight instructor at ground level. You will then feel the airflow and can simply lean into it to start flying.
Depending on the weight of the pilot and the position of the body, the operator controls the speed of the airflow in the wind tunnel. The average speed in the wind tunnel is about 180 km/h. The air speed is lower for lighter flyers who fly in basic positions. It is higher for pilots with more weight and advanced flying positions. Professional flyers work at speeds of up to 270 km/h.
There is no difficulty in breathing when flying in the wind tunnel. You can compare it to the airflow when you stick your head out of the car window.
For safety reasons it is not allowed to bring such objects to the terrace where the wind tunnel is located.
Your friends and family are welcome to observe you and take photos and videos of you flying from the areas near the wind tunnel.
The flying sensation of skydiving usually lasts between 30 and 50 seconds and has an average price of 250 euros.
FLY Gran Canaria gives you the opportunity to experience two to six 60-second flights from 49 euros without having to jump out of the plane and in complete safety.
In FLY Gran Canaria, you will be supervised by a qualified and certified instructor, who will accompany you at all times. In skydiving you are tied to the instructor, while in the wind tunnel you can fly on your own, if safety permits.
We offer different packages with different flight times. For those who are flying for the first time we recommend our packages from 2 to 6 flights of 60 seconds. Flying in the wind tunnel requires physical effort. It is common for people to feel tired after the first experience.
For people who are not in training, we recommend not to extend the total time of the flights by more than 20 minutes a day. Professional flyers are welcome to extend their flight time upon request.
For safety reasons, a beginner can only fly together with his instructor in the wind tunnel until he learns to control his movements. For advanced flyers it is possible to fly in groups of up to 2 people.
